 September 07, 2011  Saniprofessional David Calabrase named to State Board
 

National Accounts Director, David G. Calabrase, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the FAFP. He assumes the role of Secretary for the remainder of 2011. David is a six-year member of the FAFP, where he has forged several relationships in the mission of promoting food safety. Members of FAFP represent a broad spectrum of professionals dedicated to ensuring a safe food supply in the foodservice, academic and institutional settings. The mission of FAFP is to provide professionals and their constituents with a forum to exchange information and ultimately insure the safety of guests across multiple industries. Darden, Publix, Sweetbay (Delhaize), Walt Disney, and Margaritaville are a few of the notable entities whose leaders serve as active members. David shares, "...it is an honor for me to represent Sani Professional on this important industry board. We look forward to taking a proactive part in the dialogue on the latest food code objectives.” Further, he notes, “It is refreshing to know that there are still groups out there who are passionate not only about their job, but who are genuinely concerned about helping people as well.
